Arkham Horror: The Card Game is a cooperative Living Card Game ® set amid a backdrop of Lovecraftian horror. As the Ancient Ones seek entry to our world, one to two investigators (or up to four with two Core Sets) work to unravel arcane mysteries and conspiracies.

Their efforts determine not only the course of your game, but carry forward throughout whole campaigns, challenging them to overcome their personal demons even as Arkham Horror: The Card Game blurs the distinction between the card game and roleplaying experiences.

  1. At 17:42, does that mean that if Roland had decided to just fight without the revolver in the second action, the Ghoul would not have been able to get that attack of opportunity?

  2. What's the limit of people who can play this?

  3. I am a first time buyer and player of your awesome game Arkham Horror The Card Game and have just purchased the complete Dunwich Legacy Cycle (Deluxe box with the 6 Mythos packs). Unfortunately, after that there are no cycles available to buy apart from the very latest release "The Dream-Easters Cycle"

Could you please answer a couple questions:

    1) Are you going to do more printing of the earlier cycles as I was wanting to buy "The Path To Carosa" cycle next?

    2) I live in Australia, so if you are printing the earlier cycles, will they be available to buy in Australian board game stores?

    3) Do the cycles have to be played in the correct order? E.g. I start with Dunwich Legacy Cycle but after that the only cycle available to buy in Australia is "The Dream-Eaters Cycle". Can that be played next?

    4) Is there any way of purchasing the older cycles if I live in Australia? Can the cycles be bought from Fantasy Flight games or some website and posted to Australia?

Thank you so much for your help!

  4. Ʀ҉̢Ǟ̴ɮ̵Ɨ͞Ɖ̸̀ʄ̢Օ͘Ӽ͘͞ says:

Yo, this the guy from Stanley Parable?

  5. ok i finished the tutorial video, well… i still dont understand 🤣🙏🏻. so complicated card game ever.

  6. If I knew about this video before I played my first game, I would have saved a few friendships…

  7. When an enemy attacks the investigator during enemy phase. Can you play event cards for escape oder something?

  8. Does using actions on cards consume action points from the investigator?

  9. Is that all I have to do to set the game up? LOL, what a freaking nightmare.

  10. Does this Video also exists in German language?

  11. Is it weird if I listen to this video while trying to sleep?

  12. This video sold me 10/10, I knew I'd end up playing the moment I saw it, and I did and I love the game.

  13. Please make video game adaptions of all your board games, I'll buy everyone of them!

  14. 14:02 Why is Roland taking this ennemy if the card states "lowest remaining health" ? Wendy has less health than Roland right?

  15. Still dont understand 18:00 Why does the enemy interupt? Roland didnt finish his 3. action?

  16. Why was wendy able to play the elusive card if it says "play only during your turn"?

  17. Me: Watching this video to learn how to play

Also me: Taking one horror every topic change

  18. If I’m playing this in 2021 are the rules still the same or are there FAQs I need to print out and consider?

  19. Has arkham horror the card game got the some rules as call of cthulhu the card game?

  20. Just picked this up at my local game store. Can't wait to play.

  21. i just want to learn to play this game to impress this guy i'm talking to lol… wish me luck!

  22. 14:09 somebody pls tell me how roland has the lower health and not wendy?

  23. Me, for 95% of the video: something's wrong. somethings not right. something's off.

  24. This fantastic tutorial looks like the perfect blue print for a top notch digital version of the game. 10/10. Would buy!

And while we're at, sign the same narrator for the final game.

  25. Ø555Ø

I don't understand. Roland drew Ravenous Ghoul card.
But Ravenous Ghoul prey lowest remaining health. So it should be Wendy.

  26. Who is the narrator for the video? I would love to know if he does other voice work like audio books.

  27. Is this still a good video to learn from for new players? Decided to get into this LCG

  28. I did not expect this level of production quality wow

  29. After watching the video, Stanley decided to purchase a copy of the game.

  30. What the hell never seen this much work for a board game video kudos to the creator👍👌💐

  31. Would the cat add another agility to Wendy in that encounter?

  32. Stanley took the right turn and fought the Byakhee in the staff lounge.

  33. I know how to play most of these FFG games, but I come back to rewatch these tutorial videos anyway because they are so amazing

  34. The way the Chaos Bag and all works is nearly easily replaced with a d20 with some faces changed…

  35. incredibly useful. i went from being a bit scared to try the game to feeling very confident about it.

  36. Well, played my first game today, solo so I could get a handle on the rules. Forgot all about Roland's character card actions, didn't use asset cards properly, kept generating ghoul encounters, and got eaten when the agenda completely advanced past stage 3.

Still, it was a learning experience. Everybody always botches the hell out of their first go at a new tabletop game. Thanks to this tutorial I've got a much better handle on the rules than I did before.

  37. So excited to get my copy of the revised core game!!

  38. Is there a better way to see if a card is “exhausted”? Seems tipping it sideways is only clear if all cards are upright, but the play area is a mess in this example. Do people have other methods to make it more clear? a token?

  39. Also the Prey on the ravenous ghoul was interpreted incorrectly. Pray happens only if there is a choice for the monster, but if you draw a monster from encounter deck it automatically engages with you.

quote: "W hen an enemy card is drawn by an investigator, that investigator must spawn it following any spawn direction the card bears. If the encountered enemy has no spawn direction, the enemy spawns engaged with the investigator encountering the card and is placed in that investigator’s threat area."

  40. Wow, Wendy really just sacrificed her cat like that
