  1. I honestly can't fathom what Sam sees in this game. The gameplay looks really drab and shallow, the artwork is literally screen captures from the video game, with identical imagery on every character card. There's also no figures for the few playable characters; graphic design is the only redeeming quality of the production. I guess if you've never played RPG's the gameplay may not seem that bad but it's really just the most basic version of the conventional combat system found in every RPG ever made. The double use of runes triggering NPC's while creating your deckbuilding option is a neat little mechanism but the enemies themselves being so boring and the cards being generic number values for the most part means you could probably have the same depth of gameplay with a few custom dice in place of this entire system. Also wonder if the hindrances are just there to keep you from stalling on a given scene against one weak enemy and hoarding new cards in the process. At least with only 3 events to clear for a "campaign" the game doesn't stay around too long.

  2. Little surprised how relatively cheap this production looks for a CMON game.

  3. The meta can be found out easily….you ALWAYS need someone playing Kratos, and Freya, needs to be in every group game. This is the biggest con for me. If you don't have a healer or stun/cc (Atreyus), its going to be pretty hard.

  4. only played once so far i need to get it out again

  5. SPOILER ALERT for those who haven't played the videogame

How is it possible that Atreus aka Loki is a good guy lol 😀

  6. on a different but related note when is Yggdrasil Chronicles review coming? I haven't seen any reviews of it yet and it's been out for a little over a month. Cant wait for your review

  7. Wow. I love this IP, and loves Deck Builders. I will need to add this to the list

  8. This has been on my radar for a while, and thanks to Sam's review I will be buying this a lot sooner.

  9. How many times will you play a scenario? Once you have solved it out is there really a reason to play again?
Also – Is every play of the scenario that different and the decisions you make? It's solveable which makes it a one-playthrough game…

  10. I still think it's funny CMON using standees in these IP games

  11. Hi, this is a fun game to play. Does anyone know when cmon will post the faq? I have a few questions i need to check out.

  12. 14:30 Awesome, you can go on solo quest just as a head…!! No game did this ever before! 🙂

  13. Bro,I saw Alex Olteanu. He is Romanian

  14. the rule book definitely needs some clarifications. it's very unclear about the order of operations with player's turns and how attacks work imo
