I love how Queen's Blood started as "oh hey cool little Triple Triad card game" and over time it has its own sub-plot with a weird crazy cursed game thing and it's just awesome
Hey, the Moogle minigame might be annoying, but at least you only have to do each one once. There's not some jacked up hard mode version with a godlike materia or accessory locked behind it. You do it and you're DONE. There are SEVERAL other minigames that could have done with that kind of restraint.

Genuinely love how Queen’s Blood feels like FFVII’s Triple Triad equivalent, now we can technically say that all PS1 era FFs have incredibly addicting card games attached to them

Aerith is going to live again. She is in limbo between life and death. But this Aerith is not Omni or Lifestream Aerith, but an Aerith that is going to relive in a whole new world without Fantasy. Hence “Final Fantasy”, dood.
Hironobu Sakaguchi paved the way for all Final Fantasy to end in “real life”, a world that looks the same, but without “fantasy.”
And it is all returning in novel and art form.
I honestly don't mind the Mog house side quests. As long as you know what to do, it isn't too bad.

Wait. How do you get that little star on the corner of your queens blood cards? I finished the whole.enchilada of quests regarding qb and i dont recall having that. Is that like a bonus?

I love this game, and the only thing I love more is watching Max's reactions as a similar age to max and enjoying the game in the same way, its is as much a joy to watch max play through the game as it was to play myself. I would love to talk to max about FF7 one day, it would be amazing. Keep up the great work Max. Been a fan for many, many years. Shine on dood.

I have finished it today. I am still processing. Processing a lot of things. The Temple, the final battle(s), the final cutscene, what happened with my dear, sweet Aerith…I have so many thoughts but right now, zero strength to put them in order. It was just, I don't know man, I would say a journey. This game added memories on top of the wonderful memories I had of the original.
I need a break from playing, before going back to it to complete what I missed. I loved every second of the 100 hours I've put in this experience.
One thing they should copy from Witcher 3 is how you can skip some quest content if you got to the place first so it doesn't break your immersion, just get there even without following quest order and it still progresses.

I feel like "open world" and "side quest" are two things with huge negative connotation in the world of JRPG these days. So many people would get turned off by this title alone 👍🏻.
AERITH ai has been sucking for me lately. I have her stacked with atb boosts and auto casts and auto weapon casts and homegirl totes sometimes wont heal and often times seems to leave her circle when she should be staying stationary. Its been super annoying. I feel they changed something in last patch by accident

This game was the fastest 120 hours I’ve ever spent.
Not exaggerating in the slightest, Queen’s Blood might the best card game in a video game ever made! And this is coming from someone who has spent hours and hours and hours playing Gwent in The Witcher 3.
There are moments in the soundtrack when you genuinely get chills, regardless of the context of what the music is playing to.
Max I not gonna spoil it for you just know that there's a moment later on that you'll get a ktt and for the love of God DON'T trigger it
Wouldn't it be funny for the final battle of the whole series, it'll be a card battle against Sephiroth? 🤣🤣🤣

seeing max struggle to get to that one tower. that was one of the reasons i skipped out of cosmo faster than any other region, was not a fan of the navigation.
had to look up a few points cause i was tired of running around and trying different glide stations to no avail. at least the quests were all pretty cool

Max is going to have so much fun with the last queens blood boss. Pissed me off for a good 30 minutes before i figured the strat
I agree that the story in this game is for FF7 players with knowledge of the old game, and that reduces the marketing aspects.
But for real.. the dialogues, interactions, and side quests made me more cherish the adventure and the characters… way more than the original.
The Jump materia is great for avoiding special attacks that would one-shot you if you time it correctly.

It's wonderful to see Max blown away by the quests in FFRebirth. That's pretty much one of the things that made people love the Witcher 3 so much. The only difference is that in TW3 side quests have major impact on what kinds of endings you get, while FFRebirth only adds layers to the world and characters.
